THURSDAY, July 26, 2012
Intro Day
13:00-15:00 – Leaving Riga or Liepāja for Pedvāle
15.00-17.00 – Arriving in Pedvāle
18.00-19.00 – Dinner
19.00-22.00 – Presentations by Renewable Lab art and science symposium participants (10 min by each participant – introducing their artistic/scientific research work and ideas/projects that are proposed for symposium)
22.00-24.00 Symposium opening: sunset, bonfire and sauna.
FRIDAY, July 27
Day 1: Renewable Lab workshop (in Pedvāle)
8.30-9.30 Breakfast
9.30-10.00 Meeting and workshop planning
10.00-13.00 Workshops on Bacteria Battery (see the report of introductory bacteria battery workshop held last winter here), Hydroponic Gardening System, Hydrogen Workshop (and other working sessions on themes proposed by participants)
13.00 Lunch. Press journalists arrive
14.00-15.00 Press conference with presentations by participants
15.00-19.00 Workshops by participants: Hydroponic Gardening System, DIY Solar Technology, Bacteria Electricity – Sonifications and Visualizations and other working sessions on themes proposed by participants
19.00-20.00 Dinner
20.00-22.00 – Discussion and “show and tell” session (participants showing their projects, video, and other thematically related visual materials, and discuss the results of the Day 1)
22.00-24.00 Sunset, bonfire and sauna
22.00 Parallel event: film “Kolka cool” screening in open-air cinema, in the framework of Sabile’s Wine Festival programme (in Sabile town, around 30 min walk from Pedvāle).

SATURDAY, July 28
Day 2: StudioLab: Biotricity working session (in Saliņas)
8.30 – 9.30 Breakfast
9.30 – 10.00 Leaving for Saliņas / arriving in Saliņas, coffee
10.30 – 14.00 StudioLab working session “Biotricity – generating electricity from wastewater” – experimenting and building bacteria battery system in soil and pond and Pond Aquaponics workshop
14.00 – 15.00 Lunch
15.00 – 18.00 StudioLab “Biotricity” working session and Pond Aquaponics workshop; closing discussions
19.00 – Dinner in Pedvāle (optional) or on the way to Riga / leaving for Riga
